Arje Gerecht

Arje Gerecht, President of the company, has been in the construction field for over forty years, acquiring experience and expertise in all of the important phases of construction project management. He has been heavily involved in the construction of residential homes, shopping centers, and warehouses.

Arje's residential experience covers over seventy homes built, including several River Oaks homes that are currently valued at over six million dollars each. His broad experience includes responsibilities of construction supervision, estimating, subcontract administration, purchasing, warehousing, accounting, and auditing.

Paul Gerecht

Paul Gerecht, a native Houstonian and Eagle Scout, was raised in the River Oaks and West University neighborhoods. He attended The Kinkaid School growing up, and he attended Columbia University for undergraduate and graduate school where he focused on Engineering and Computer Science. Paul also holds an MBA and a Master of Engineering from Rice University.

As Vice-President of Arjeco Builders, Paul oversees every aspect of the construction process and often visits each jobsite multiple times per day. He takes great pride in his work and makes sure that every detail stands up to his exceptionally high standards. He has a passion for Audio-Visual Systems and loves designing Smart homes and media rooms. Paul’s clients comment on how he is always available to answer questions and replies to their messages immediately, day or night. He is a wealth of information and an asset to Arjeco Builders.

Betty Gerecht

Betty Gerecht is a third-generation Houstonian who grew up in the West University and Tanglewood neighborhoods. Betty was raised around Arjeco Builders, which drove her passion for real estate from an extremely early age. As a second-generation John Daugherty agent, John Daugherty, Realtors is a firm that is very dear to her heart.

Prior to being recruited to join the John Daugherty team, Betty worked for Arjeco as a designer and executive assistant. Her experience with multiple high end local home builders gives her vast insight and knowledge into the construction process. Betty took her knowledge of different aspects of real estate and turned it into a career with John Daugherty, Realtors.

After graduating from The Kinkaid School, Betty earned her Bachelor’s degree at Texas Christian University. Betty has a white Labrador she loves to take out for a run. She enjoys traveling off the beaten path and has been to more than 30 different countries around the world. She is also adventurous and has been sky diving and scuba diving.

Betty is involved in the Junior League of Houston and the Menil Contemporaries. She also works as a designer for Arjeco Builders, Inc. and enjoys playing polo at the Houston Polo Club.

She currently resides in the Highland Village area and specializes in Houston’s premiere neighborhoods including River Oaks, Tanglewood, West University, Museum District and Bellaire. Betty’s passion for residential real estate is evident through her lifelong experience. What she loves doing is using her extensive heritage and real estate history to give her buyers a unique understanding of new construction and the purchasing process.
